Hi there, I almost never post but I'm wondering what other 7ish month old babies are napping. We don't have a very good set schedule and we are wanting to get him on a better schedule. He generally has a morning nap (time varies on when he woke up), afternoon nap, and a short power nap in the evening to make it to bed time. He usually sleeps 10pm-7 or 8 (not counting waking a few times). I would like to back his bed time up to 9 if he doesn't wake earlier! I need him to "sleep in" a little to get myself out of bed and get the household routine going!
Does your baby nap 2 or 3 times a day? J seems to like being up for about 3 hours at a time. Yours?
TIA!

- 6:15 wake-up and a 6 oz bottle
- 7:45 DC gives him fruit and oatmeal
- 8:00 nap
- 9:30 wake-up, 8 oz bottle
- 11:30 nap
- 1:00 or 1:30 wake-up, solids, 3 oz bottle
- 4:00 last nap, can be anywhere from 40 minutes to 2 hours. I get him up if it gets to 6 pm because it will mess with his bedtime. Unless he has a cold, then I let him sleep whenever, wherever, and for as long as he wants.
- 6:00 offer solids, 3 oz bottle
- 8:00 6 oz bottle, bedtime
Most nights he sleeps right through until I wake him up.
Weekends there really is no schedule. He could take 4 hour long naps or 2 twenty minute naps and then a 3 hour nap.
He'll be 7 months tomorrow.
Nap around 10am for about 1.5 hours
Nap again around 2pm for about 1.5 hours
Bedtime 7ish
Usually sleeps through night until wake time.
She also eats about 30-35oz expressed BM a day and gets most of her solids at 6pm.
Mine are 7.5 months and generally nap twice a day (once in a while on the weekend, 3) for about 2 hours each on the weekend. Generally after 2-3 hours being awake, they start show signs of being tired and ready for a nap but they often fight it.
In the week at daycare, they normally have 1 nap of about 2 hours and a shorter nap of 30-45 minutes. They often nap for 15 minutes on the way to and from the center.
On the weekends they usually get 10-12 hours of sleep a night with 1 of them waking up at some point for a feed. In the week, they generally get 8-9 hours of sleep with 1 of them waking for a feed.
They're usually ready for bed by 7.30pm, with the goal that they're asleep by 8pm, however it varies. Sometimes they're sleeping before 8pm and others they don't sleep before 9pm.
On the weekends they wake up on their own usually between 6.30 and 7.30am. In the week, I have them up before 6 (sometimes they wake on their own about 5.30am). If I have to get stuff done, I get up before them (in the week I'm usually up by 4.30am).
