Disjagsjfktidjdr just an army related rant sorry

Instead of buying the newborn cloth diaper stash I wanted, I am now spending my money on an air mattress to sleep on. I was supposed to leave for New Jersey tomorrow morning, and they screwed up all of my paperwork so now I have a minimum of a week left. And my lease ends in a week so if it's longer I'll have to spend on hotels too. Let me just scream for a second. Okay. Sorry.

Oh wait there's more. They might nt let me use my leave because they don't think it's safe for a pregnant woman to drive far. They suggest I ship my car and fly home instead. It's like $1500 to ship my car you pieces of poop.

I'm trying hard not to swear.

    I'm pissed at the army right now too. It sucks that they're dicking you around like this.

    My cousin's husband had drill sergeant school orders, but the woman who interviewed him objected to a pinup tattoo he has. They told him if he got clothes put on her, he'd be good. So he did, now they say if he doesn't get the thing removed entirely he's facing separation. wtf army. Wtf.

    That makes no sense, because they changed the tattoo policies but his is old so it should be grandfathered in. So thats stupid. Like really stupid.

    They would likely pay for the flight but NOT the car shipment. So yeah. I'm sorry what? I can't drive because I'm a pregnant woman? Sounds like discrimination to me...

    I'm still going to try and go ahead and drive. If the commander tries to say I can't, oh hell, you don't even know the rage that awaits.
