The post below got me thinking. What are your lo's nicknames and are they related to their real names?

My oldest is Bryan and he gets called Bry or sometimes B-Boy

2nd is Jared and he gets called Jay mostly

3rd is Kyle and his nickname has NOTHING to do with his name. It is Foogy. My dh asked him one day what he wanted to be called and that is what he came up with.

Joshua obviously gets called Josh but more often Ruckus, which once again has NOTHING to do with his name but DH came up with that after he deemed Josh was constantly "causing a ruckus"

We have several nicknames. The IL's and my mom call her Evie. H and I call her bumble bee or tater tot.

My kids all nicknames came from there names.

Artimumiy and Tyoma from Artemiy and Veronyusha and Veroniquita from Veronica.

The oldest was always Petya from Peter...

She has lots: doodlebug, doodle bear, doodle, bear, bugbear. One of our friends calls her nugget, and I now call her that too sometimes. Our nanny calls her Avalet.

For Cooper we say coop, coop doggy dog, Cooper scooper, baby girl, babyboo, sugar, princess, the list goes on and on. We call her everything it seems. Crazy monkey is a common one when she's acting a fool

Emily has a million nicknames. Mostly Em or Emmy, but often Little Love or Emmy Mae.

Nicholas...poor guy....I call him my meatloaf or Michelin Man if I'm not calling him Nicky. Sometimes sweet baby or little buddy.

Sometimes, I call her Bug, but mostly, it's Sunshine. You'd be amazed how many strangers have commented on what a "unique name" I had given my daughter, but that it seemed to suit her. Can you imagine going for a job interview when you're 25 and having to introduce yourself as Sunshine?
