projectile vomiting??

So this has happened twice in the last week, and it FREAKS.ME.OUT. LO will cough a couple of times while burping during a feeding and then he projectile vomits EVERYTHING and then some, all over the place. Poor thing got it all over himself last night, clothes, face, eyes, everything. He cried for a minute but was back to being really happy just a couple minutes afterward. Anyone else have this? Is it something I should be taking him to the doctor for? (am i a bad mom for not already doing so?!)

The last 2 days we've has this issue. I think for us it's more related to solids. He's never done well with them and he vomits after he eats them. Guess we will take a break from it for a little while. He's definitely not sick, so I think he just had a bad tummy.

Yes. Our little guy did that exactly like you described and it ended up he had an ear infection. Don't know why the correalation but the nurse said her baby used to throw up like that when she got an ear infection as well. Other than that our LO didn't show any of the other typical signs.

Ugh, it's scary and I feel so bad for him! He had a double ear infection a few weeks ago and was still pulling on his ears, so I took him back to the doctor last Friday and she said his ears were fine. Maybe he just didn't do well with green beans?

This happended to LO the first time I gave him water. Avocado/banana/milk water went on me, in my mouth, on the laptop, the cat, the walls, the carpet, couch and ottoman. Not a drop on him. No water since and no vomiting.
