Car Accident

Hello All! I am 17 weeks today and last Wednesday I was hit from behind in a car accident. I went to the doctor and they said everything seemed fine. I heard the heart beat, but I still haven't been given an ultra sound. I am worried. Anybody have something similar happen to them?

    I had it happen both pregnancies (if I have a third child, I will be in bubble wrap the entire time). Both times just went for monitoring and no ultrasound. They are very well protected at this stage, much more than you or I!

    Call your OB if you are worried about it that much and request an u/s.

    I was rear ended while pregnant with my first -- I went straight to the ER to get checked out, which is what I've always been taught to do after ANY car accident, and they automatically did an u/s.  I would call your OB and request one, or just go back to the ER, unless you've already signed the paperwork to close out the accident.
