What week/food are you? Week 6.. is that a pea? I forget

Any Appointments or updates this week? Tuesday is my first appointment! Usually they want you in at 8 weeks, which, if you go by LMP, I would be 8 weeks.. but really I'll be two days shy of 7 weeks then.

How are you feeling? Symptoms? Nauseous today. Just finished my DD Dunkachino that I typically don't get. I'm regretting it.

Do you think we should continue the ticker change questions each week? I don't understand this question? Should we continue posting this thread? Why not - gives people choices on how to participate in the group.

Do you visit any other pregnancy sites besides TB? Nope. When TTC, I'd Google stuff and end up on other sites, but I never posted anywhere but here.
  • What week/food are you?
    9 weeks!! Green olive.

Any Appointments or updates this week?
Nope, my next appointment is next week.

    How are you feeling? Symptoms?
I feel awesome right now, especially compared to last week. Last week was THE most rough in the m/s department- sooo queasy, threw up several times. For some reason it got like 99% better. I notice it in the AM when I wake, but then it disappears when I eat a few crackers. I really feel great. I feel pregnant, but great.

Do you think we should continue the ticker change questions each week?
Yes please :)  I enjoy them.

Do you visit any other pregnancy sites besides TB?
I do every so often, but I really prefer this one HANDS down by far.  I like the community 100% more and the friends I've already made and gotten closer to.  I like the mix of wonderfully nice people and people who are truthful and say crap on their mind.

Do you think we should continue the ticker change questions each week? I started it last week so obviously my vote is yes. Other ticker days obviously didn't care to join in last week I guess.
@LooneyLife - we are obviously the best ;)
And YAY for graduating from the RE! That's great!  And so is the awesome u/s- congrats!!

@GrahamSchneider- good luck today! (edited to say, I mean Tuesday haha).. @CrazyMonkeyBear.. good luck to YOU today.
    I need coffee, it appears.

Yeah, totally looking forward to this. I haven't had one in over two years. Then again, I've had so much poking and priding done at the RE in the past year I guess this will be easy.

I had mine a few weeks ago at my 6 week appointment. I've never really minded a pap/pelvic exam, though.. I'd rather get 100 pap smears every day than go to the dentist.  I go for a cleaning every 6 months, still.. but it's so hard for me. Ugh.  Pap smears I don't care about.

You got me there! I get my 6 month cleanings, too. My H didn't go for upwards of 10 years. He had to get a deep scaling and now he has to go every 3 months for upkeep. I laugh at him.

Paps are quick and easy, which is nice.

Aw cripes!! That must have hurt him.
I go every 6 months BECAUSE of my fear- backwards, right? I'm afraid of cavities or ANY work done.. so I'm super anal about my teeth care and going exactly when I should. I wish I could go more so they're extra cared for, haha.   I have SUPER sensitive teeth so it's kinda painful for me. I have a very bad gag reflex, too, so it's hard for them to clean my teeth and takes longer. I'm not exactly the easiest to work with. They have to constantly stop because I gag.

I'm the queen of off topicness.

  • What week/food are you? 6 weeks - sweet pea I think?

Any Appointments or updates this week? I have my third (!) ultrasound on Monday. I am still bleeding (3 weeks plus now) so I'm really hoping for good news. I keep telling myself that the bleeding didn't stop the baby from implanting and growing... so maybe it's okay. Also, good news is that I called the midwife centre yesterday and got in! Second to last person they were letting in for January and I got that spot. If I had waited until Monday after my u/s (original plan) it would have been too late. Appointment isn't until July though.

How are you feeling? Symptoms? Not bad. I've been a little queasy the last few days but no actual m/s. All I want to eat are noodles. The idea of raw vegetables turns my stomach. Ha, right after I wrote this I puked in the sink. So let me change this to not good!

Do you think we should continue the ticker change questions each week? Yes please! I think it's a great way to mark the week.

Do you visit any other pregnancy sites besides TB? Nope, just you guys.

  • What week/food are you? Week 9, Olive

Any Appointments or updates this week? I had an appointment last Friday and we got to see the little bean. He/she was measuring perfectly so no due date change. Next appointment is June 17. Next appointment to really look forward to is the one at the hospital when they take all the measurements. That was around week 14 last time.

How are you feeling? Symptoms? Feeling pretty good. The midwife prescribed me a new anti-nausea medicine called Diclegis that is working better than Zofran for me (and without most of the side effects). Other than that, I'm just SUPER tired. I feel like I need to take a nap at 3pm every day. Too bad I'm at the office!

Do you think we should continue the ticker change questions each week? Yes, it's fun to see where everyone is.

Do you visit any other pregnancy sites besides TB? Last pregnancy I liked reading the Alpha Mom Zero to Forty calendar. https://alphamom.com/pregnancy-calendar-overview/

@looneylife did not want to step on any toes but couldn't remember who posted it last week either. After not seeing any of them the rest of the days in the week, I wasn't sure it was going to continue. I figured posting it and asking if people wanted to do it would be good. :)

Oh, no worries! I don't usually get in until 7:30 EST but I fully intended on posting it. Maybe it will catch on with some of the other days when they see how much fun we have ;)
    I love ticker change day!

I mean, I'm 24, will be 25 in a few months, and I still bite the dentist. I have a simple "No Touch" rule that they don't get.
@CrazyMonkeyBear - Well I'm almost 35 and I bite the dentist, so my guess is this is something you won't get over ;)

We aren't alone, FYI. I don't know why you bite, but when I apologize to mine for doing so he says "you aren't the first, won't be the last".. it's a reflex thing for me. I bite down. It also has something to do with my gag reflex.

I won't tell you what else I've bitten and why this event doesn't occur very much anymore between H and I.

Not backwards! That's why I go. I'm not a flosser, at least not a lot. I should be - but if there's one thing easy enough to do to make sure my teeth stay as healthy as possible is to go every 6 months!

I feel the same way! Week 8 was absolutely terrible for me. Even on medication, I was STILL getting sick. Yesterday was the first day I went the whole day without wanting to puke. Maybe we are finally over the hump?

Any Appointments or updates this week? Nope. My first is next Wednesday.

How are you feeling? Symptoms? I'm feeling pretty good. Really tired.

Do you think we should continue the ticker change questions each week? This is my first time participating, but I think I could dedicate myself to a once weekly check in easier than daily.

Do you visit any other pregnancy sites besides TB? I google stuff, of course. This is really the only message board I have ever participated on.

Do you think we should continue the ticker change questions each week? Yes!

Do you visit any other pregnancy sites besides TB? Nope. I used this ione exclusively while I was pregnant w/ DD, and bonded with my birth month group....so, as long as my IT dept. at work doesn't block this site, I'm good! Do you visit any other pregnancy sites besides TB?
Not at the moment. Maybe when I'm further along in my pregnancy.
  • 9 weeks/olive

Had an appt yesterday and got a bunch of bloodwork. Tomorrow is my first ultrasound!

I have been feeling okay except for the tension headaches threatening to ruin my life.

Yeah, let's keep up with it. The daily symptoms thread is exhausting!

I haven't been visiting any other sites. Should I be? Am I missing out?
  • I can't believe no one else reads urban baby. It's like crack.

Hey ladies, I've decided to join today's ticker change! Disclaimer: I'm on mobile so I don't even know what my ticker(s) look like or if I even have any on my siggy. Have been too lazy to get on my computer and change anything.

    What week/food are you?
    9 weeks Green olive

Any Appointments or updates this week?
    Next appointment is next Tuesday

    How are you feeling? Symptoms?
Starting to gain back my energy, luckily no m/s. I did have a strange episode yesterday where my vision got very blurry and my fingers on my left hand went numb. It was really scary but passed rather quickly.

Do you think we should continue the ticker change questions each week?
    Sure

Do you visit any other pregnancy sites besides TB?
No, I could hardly keep up on here :)
