Britax B Agile or Mamas & Papas Armadillo ?? Stroller help!

Hey there! I was totally set on getting the Britax B Safe Infant Seat and pairing it with the Britax B Agile Stroller since they go together so well with the Click-n-go adapter. But after visiting the stores and playing around with different strollers I really liked the Mamas and Papas Armadillo stroller too! The only problem is it is not compatible with the Britax B Safe seat and instead goes with either Maxi Cosi infant seats or Chicco.

I am considering going with the Maxi Cosi Mico seat so that I can get the Armadillo stroller, but I don't like that infant seat as much as the Britax B Safe seat. Since the Armadillo stroller and the B Agile stroller are very similar, I'm not sure if I should stick with the Britax set or go for the Maxi Cosi set and Armadillo stroller.

Does anyone have any thoughts on either of these strollers or either of these infant seats? Would love to hear if anyone has bought the Armadillo stroller and Maxi Cosi infant seat? Or if you chose the B Agile or Armadillo?

THANKS!

  • I love my b safe/b agile combo. It is still going strong at almost 2 years of daily use and we will be getting the double for 2.0s arrival (and reusing the b safe). One of the best things about the seat and stroller was how easy it was to fold and how light it is to throw in the trunk.

    Ditto! It's a great set!

  • I love the b safe b agile combo!
  • I went with the Armadillo and will pair it with a Chicco carseat. Originally I was going to get the Armadillo and pair it with the Maxi Cosi BUT - in trying out the Armadillo carseat adapter with the Maxi Cosi carseat I found it significantly more difficult to get the carseat to "snap" in.

Yes the Maxi Cosi is cuter than the Chicco, but in this case function won out over fashion. The Chicco snaps into the Armadillo easily.

I went with the b-safe/agile combo.  Obviously they haven't been used yet but they seem great.

  • I also have the BAgile/B Safe combo set and absolutely love it. The BAgile will be my only stroller until LO doesn't need one any more, and I have no doubt that it will last.

We also have the b agile & b safe combo, I would definitely recommend.
  • I bought a chicco infant seat with dd and my mom bought the britax. We both hate the britax. I wouldn't recommend it. I always wonder how it managed such good reviews. However, I absolutely love the britax stroller.
  • I love my b agile, but make sure the b safe fits easily in your car and doesn't require the seat in front of it to be all the way forward if you want someone to be able to sit in it!

Before I discovered the Uppababy Vista I was torn between these two strollers as well. I loved the Armadillo but it bothered me that there was no matching car seat. The Britax system's basket was too small for my liking.
