The first one was right before I changed into my gown at the hospital. I was doing chalkboard pictures and I was supposed to do 38 weeks that morning (yes, I showered and did my hair when I realized I was in labor at 5am. It was the last time doing my hair in peace and quiet!)

The second one is Emmy a few hours old.

This seems like forever ago!

One of my friends is trying to get into professional photography and asked me to be a guinea pig for her on pregnancy pics. Getting off the ground that day was not easy!

And E's newborn pic at the hospital. I cried so hard when we got her pics, the were set to a beautiful song that made me lose my shit every time I heard it for so long. I told DH it will be their father daughter song when she gets married.

This is me 8 months pregnant getting ready for a work event- it was when I felt my best. The next is the morning I went into labor, I was already preeclamptic but no one knew. The 3rd is out first family photo, and the last one is my favorite picture of me and LO the day we got discharged from the hospital- also at my happiest.

The first one is from our maternity photo shoot. I barely recognize myself there. The water retention was out of control and all my features are just, mushy.

Second one is A the day we left the hospital. He was 3 days old.

Third is from A's NB shoot.

The last one is just a random pic of Sinny looking like an evil genius. He wants to participate on the BMB.

The first is thanksgiving day at 40.5 weeks...before the meal:(. The second is my very favorite of S in the hospital. We think she was posing for us. And the third is our first Christmas. I can't believe they were ever this tiny or I was ever that big:)

I remember seeing her and thinking that she was huge at 8lbs6oz, but looking back now she was so tiny.

She seems so big to me now too, it's still hard for me to wrap my mind around the idea that she will continue to grow up. How long can I stay in denial? Please stay my baby forever

Oh generic is not the way to describe you! I get that "you look like so and so" often as well. I think classic beauty is a much better descriptor for you! In highschool, my eng comp book had an entry about composite faces. It had a pictures of multiple faces layered upon each other from all races/nationalities, the final picture looked like a "fuzzy" version of me. It was kinda creepy!

Thanks! I'm mostly mobile and I constantly get kicked out whenever I try to log in. It took me three times today!

She is a doll face, always smiley. We are having monthly appointments/echos with her cardiologist so he can keep an eye on the leakage. If it gets any worse, she will have to have a valve replacement. Two months ago, he said she would need it this summer but she is stable for now. You wouldn't ever know that she isn't 100%.

I know I'm late on this but I love this post!

First one is my belly shot at 36 weeks 3 days, after my water spontaneously broke and I was admitted into L&D, H was born that night!
Second is Henry's first picture! So tiny! 5 lbs 14 oz!
Third is some skin to skin time with Daddy at the hospital!
It is so hard to believe that he was once so tiny!!
