Swing & seat safety

Reece is sitting in his Mamaroo, with it as upright as possible, because we're looking out the window at the flowers. I haven't turned it on. He was laying back, as you'd expect, and then all on his own, he sat up! Yes, I'm super proud of him! But does this mean he shouldn't be using his Mamaroo anymore, for safety reasons? I've already questioned putting him in the bouncy seat for similar reasons. Or am I answering my own question?

    The manual says "Discontinue use once child can sit up unassisted". I don't know much about mamaroos...do you think it could tip over with the weight of him going forward like that?

    I bet he just did a baby crunch... I wouldn't say he can sit unassisted. If there is a safety belt, use that.
