Rants/Raves? No raves this week, thank goodness! Haha. I haven't had contractions in a few days, and I THINK I was having them before because of all the decongestants I was taking while sick. I think they dehydrated me. So I've been pounding water and not taking decongestants and I'm feeling much better. Also saw the chiropractor today so my back is happy.
Upcoming appointments? Next sonogram is on Wednesday. It'll be a cervical check plus they're taking a few more measurements.
GTKY: What is your favorite book? That's a tough one. I adore the Thursday Next series by Jasper Fforde. Also love The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon - beautiful book.

Rants/Raves? I don't have many rants besides I have a hard time deciding if it is a Braxton Hick's contraction/her moving? Has anyone figured that out yet? @LTMama, what did your contractions feel like this time? Raves: My cervix is holding stead at 3.8/3.9 cm and closed, oh and she is back to head down...she has been breech for over a month.
Upcoming appointments? Had one this morning just for a cervical check-I thought they were going to take a quick look at her, but not the case. I was just happy for good news regarding my cervix. My next appointment is June 16th-so forever away lol!
Any news/major updates/milestones? I am anxious to reach 24 weeks, although I am freaking out since that is when I was put on bed rest with DS. I can't believe I am to that point in this pregnancy.
GTKY: What is your favorite book?I am a huge fan of the Outlander Series. I can't wait for the final book to come out in a week or so.
@suitern, they felt like menstrual cramps (in the lower uterus area, and radiating down the front of my left leg), but were coming at regular intervals. About every 3-6 minutes and lasting for about 1.5 minutes (I used an app to time them so I could tell my doc), for about 3 hours. I mean, I often get random cramps and I don't worry about them, but since these were coming and going with regularity, my OB called them contractions. They felt just like when I was in labor last time.
I blame Sudafed, lol.

@LTmama so it was mostly crampy. Was your uterus hard like a contraction as well? I am so glad they stopped!
Rants/Raves? No rants. Excited to go on vacation tomorrow to Virginia to visit my BIL and his family although I'm a little nervous about how DS will do on the plane but we'll get through it. Upcoming appointments? June 9th for another Fetal Echo and June 12th for 28 week appt. Any news/major updates/milestones? I had the first Fetal Echo a couple weeks ago for LO's irregular heartbeat. They didn't find anything structurally wrong with the heart so they are thinking that he has premature atrial contractions that should resolve itself before birth. I have another Fetal Echo in a couple weeks and then will be monitored every two weeks until it resolves itself or birth. They don't anticipate any other complications but told me no caffeine since it's tough on their little hearts and to pay attention to kick counts. GTKY: What is your favorite book? I have always loved "She's Come Undone" by Wally Lamb. A recent favorite has been "The Language of Flowers" by Vanessa Diffenbaugh.

Thanks! Yeah mostly crampy. Sometimes my uterus felt hard, sometimes it didn't. I asked my OB about that, and she said you can't always feel the muscles getting hard to be having a contraction. I was feeling the cramps pretty low down, so I think that made the hardness more difficult to feel?

Re: High Risk Check in May 29th
Upcoming appointments?
Any news/major updates/milestones?
Honestly it's all quiet over here - but being high risk - quiet is always good.
