I couldn't help it. I had to send them an email telling them how absurd their criterion is for children to ride their rides and asked them to reconsider since no other theme park considers "3 independent steps" to be evidence that they can ride a ride WITH their parents. They're probably printing my reservation to put at the ticket booth so they can tell me to GTFO next week lol

Welp, it gets worse. At least Sesame, for as stupid as it is, has an actual measurable rule. Six Flags? "No infants" on some rides. What is an infant you ask? Who knows. For funsies I looked up the definition and it is "a child in the first period of life." How many periods ARE there? He'll be one the actual day we go - infant or not? I'm on hold with customer service.

@elmoali we decided to stop by Sesame Place this weekend too since we'll be in the area for C's party. Maybe i'll see you there lol

They're policy does seem kinda ridiculous. I mean I don't think I was planning on going on any rides with C anyway, I just figured she was too small. She'll be just as occupied playing with water and walking around. I'll see when we get there. I hope things work out!

Everyone's an idiot. This is how this conversation went:

Some of your rides say no height requirement with an adult but also say no infants but "infant" isn't an age so I need to know how you're defining that.

What are you trying to do?

I'm trying to figure out if my son can ride with me.

Can he walk?

Is that the criterion then - walking?

No he can't.

Well it means you can't bring, like, a 3 month old on.

He's 1. But my question is how you can have NO minimum requirement AND a minimum requirement that is vague. Can he come on with an adult?

Well yes, of course - he's ONE.

Finally they tell me that yes, he can ride. JFC.

There isn't a lot I'd take him on anyway but I think he could handle the flying Elmos, kwim?

We'll probably spend a lot of time in the water area but I was hoping to take him on SOMETHING.
