Our pedi said we could start adding meat to the solids we offer. So far, we've only done oatmeal and veggie and fruit purees. This may be a dumb question, but what's the best way to introduce meat? Will he choke on it?
They have meat purees or you could do it BLW style and offer large chunks/strips. I would avoid just cutting up small pieces right now, that would cause choking.
I made a chicken purée for DD1, but it reminded me too much of cat food and I just couldn't feed it to her. I did other proteins-beans, tofu, lentils, yogurt, egg and then when she was a little older I offered really soft shredded meats in small pieces.
