I could send you a picture of my hideous 6 inch scar across my chest from my melanoma excision surgery, having a tan ass is not at all worth it, I promise. I had to shop for wedding dresses based on the neckline covering it up. You need to be around for your LO mama!

Dang I'm so sorry too heart that! I have tanned before I just want color because I've been inside alllllll winter.
A safer alternative would be the spray tan. I have a woman come to my house and do a non-toxic, chemical free spray that gives just enough color and won't kill me.
I'm whiter than my white newborn that's never seen the sun. Naturally white skin is so much prettier than leathered tan skin. Stay natural and embrace your healthy beauty.
I won't hate on this. Tanning is very bad for you, yes. But I understand wanting a little color. Especially after being indoors all winter. I'm going to try spray tanning. And I may do one of the quick color beds once before we go to the shore. Go with something that works for you...for life. We have some little ones to love on. Tan skin is hot but being a good mom is so, so much hotter.

I found out last year I had a freckle on my eye. Most likely from tanning bed I am lucky that it is not cancerous and I will not go back in a tanning bed anymore
I second the spray tan idea...if you get a good one you won't look like Snooki, I promise! I got it done for my friend's wedding a couple years ago, and it was very smooth and realistic. People asked me where I was for the week since I looked like I was actually tan.
Now, I use the tinted Jergen's natural glow lotion regularly starting in May. It won't make you tan but it will certainly make you NOT pale after winter. It's a good starter to summer, during which of course you should wear plenty of sunscreen
