It went really good! Man oh man did I have to pee though, my bladder was actually too full at first and I had to go let some out lol. But baby July was doing all kinds of flips and everything! We could see their little nose and their little fingers and little toes! We could even see that the baby July's bladder was full lol. He/She's heart beat was at 171 bpm! We got to hear the heartbeat it was amazing!!! We won't get the results for at least two weeks. The initial results were ok, he said the skin folds were right were they wanted them to be and we are in the 60th percentile... dont' really know what that means! Oh yea on a bigger note this is the third time that I have measured ahead! But this time it was really far ahead according to my O date I am 11 weeks 4 days, but tech check it FOUR times; I am measuring 12weeks and 5days!! Holy hell! We don't know how that is possible!! I know when I ovulated.... Anyways my next app is On Jan 26th! I can't wait! Thanks for all of the good vibes and prayers ladies!!! I really do appreciate them!!!

I still think FF is right, I mean if you look at my chart there is no way I O'd earlier! I think maybe our little Guy/Girl is just measuring a little big. It kinda makes me question how legit charting is but I still think for the most part is the most accurate thing to go by till a doc says different you know?

I hear you on that one, I see that a lot too that the baby is either measuring ahead or behind... I honestly am starting to think that maybe some babies just grow at a faster/slower pace than some other babies. I mean cuz you are right if someone knows when they O'd than there measurement should be in correlation with the O date. Since this is my first pregnancy I honestly don't know lol. The way they can pin point the babys measuremennt to the exact day is the baby is suppose to be a certain length for certain weeks/days, so when they meausre the baby it tells them how far along the baby is... My baby was 2 and a half inches long and I don't rememebr exactly but I do think that is right for 12 weeks and not 11weeks. But again this is only my first pregnancy so I am kinda just as confused as you are lol.
That is how I feel about ours...we could clearly see arms and legs moving and that would be more 9 weeks than 8...I don't know.
July and JenniferMae - wouldn't it make sense like July says that babies grow at different rates in utero just like people do after they are no longer in utero? That's why it's so weird to me that doctors give these precise estimates down to the day. So I am still trusting charting...but what do I know!

Yeah I think all babies do grow differently...I trust both I guess but if my baby is measuring ahead I have no problem putting my ticker to match that...same if he/she was behind.
For some women who don't chart and literally don't know what their LMP was or their O day go off of the baby's measurements. I guess that is why I don't see the problem with it either.
Julybride,
I wasn't able to check back yesterday for your post so i'm a day late. sorry! So glad to hear everything went well! I'm sure your other tests will come back fine as well!
Isn't it amazing to watch your little bean moving around and hearing the heartbeat? Just wait until your 20 week u/s when you can see features and you're feeling them move around and seeing it on the monitor. You'll fall even more in love!
?Keep us updated on the other tests!?
Congrats on a such a great dr's appt! ?
