CPW: Does LO hold his or her own bottle?

Just wondering if my son is the only baby who doesn't hold his own bottle... Soooo.. Does your little guy or gal hold his or her own bottle?

He'll hold his straw sippy cup & drink from that, but he doesn't hold his own bottle. He doesn't get the whole holding it up part I think.

DD refuses to hold it. She will open her arms and lay back and open her mouth as to say feed me mommy.

LO can hold her bottle but she always ends up just playing with it so I prefer to hold it for her so she can drink properly.

She loves to chug her bottle and loves to try to drink from a "real" cup but struggles with her sippy.

He's held his own bottle for a while. He does really well picking it up, turning it right-side up and tipping it up to get the last drops. He tips up the sippy cup as well and gets it all over himself. Sippy cups are hard.

I'm glad I'm not alone! Some mornings if I want to get my coffee going, I'll get my daughter to give him the bottle..

Never took a bottle (stubborn little girl only latched onto a bottle 3 times ever), but she can independently drink out of the 7oz Take and Toss sippy cups. Well, until she gets bored and chucks it at the dog.

She does hold her own bottle. We'd been putting her in our laps & she'd hold her own, but then I saw that she's totally on her own at daycare eating & she was just totally being a diva making us still hold her to eat. I now put her on the couch next to me.
