My LB is at the hospital, cervidil has been placed, and now she's trying to rest up. Let's wish her luck that the cervidil does it's job and that things happen smoothly and safely!
UPDATE #1 : At about 7am EST they started pitosin, as the cervidil hadn't done too much overnight. It's been about 2.5 hours since then - the contractions are now about 3 min apart, and as she says 'aren't too bad' so far. I'll update more as I hear from her

UPDATE #2 : Water broke at about 11 EST! Baby is sunny side up, causing some difficulty for the nurse's check, but the doctor is going to come check on her around lunchtime.
UPDATE #3 : Baby's heartrate was dropping, but they gave more fluids and it's holding steady now. Kim is 7 cm and 100% effaced so she is getting closer!
Final UPDATE : Kelsey Marie is here!! She was born at 6:27, was 6lbs and 7oz, and 19 inches long. Congratulations to Kim and to her family!
