I need a convincing lie.

We share a big house with my MIL & FIL. My MIL watches DS while I'm at work. We've managed to not tell my In-Laws that I'm pregnant. I want to wait until after the NT scan to tell anyone. So, here's the issue: my NT scan is Friday morning and I want DH (who works from home) to come with me, but I don't know how to explain us leaving together about 2 hours after I'd normally go to work. Ideas?

    Go get a massage honey. Leave at your normal time, and bring a book. Your hubby might have to run to the grocery store to get some special snacks like s'mores for the little campfire you're gonna have in the backyard tonight. ;)

    im confused.  how are they going to know he's with you if you'll already be at work?

    Septum Resection - 2/6/14
    brand new cuterus
    March 2014:   first medicated cycle + iui     = BFP!

    These are all great suggestions, but I failed to mention that I normally leave for work around 645am... So nothing is really open and DH isn't going anywhere that early ever. We've both been talking about needing to see the eye doctor, though.

    That is what I was going to suggest, an eye doctor appt where you need to have your eyes dilated so you cant/don't want to drive.

    Married my best friend 7/2/11 - Furbaby born 7/9/11 and brought into our home 9/1/11

    BFP#1:   2/2/13 ~ exact m/c date unknown but around 3/20 at 10 weeks ~ diagnosed with PMP ~ D&C on 4/5 ~ TTA for at least 1 year due to PMP ~ cleared to TTC 1/14

    BFP#2:   2/7/14 ~ m/c 2/20/14 ~ possibly due to chemical pregnancy ~ TG no D&C is needed 

    Surprise BFP#3:  4/4/14 ~ super duper extra happy (and nervous) about this one - EDD 12/9/14!!!

    John Joseph was born on 12/12/14 at 7 lbs. 11 oz.  He is the most beautiful rainbow baby we could have wished for!
