I used cloth diapers and wipes with my second son and will with the third. Not sure why I never used cloth nursing pads too! I want to this time and wondering if anyone else has recommendations.
I have the Lanoish (sp?) ones. They work great, but only after my milk has come in and regulated. Not sure if that's just me, though. I leak like craaaaaaazy for the first few weeks. But once the faucet turns off, the cloth ones are just fine!
Check out this site. I've gotten their pads and they are great. 10 pairs was plenty and you just pay shipping

I have fuzzibunz ones... LOVE them. Probably going to get another set of three for this kid.

I was really not a fan. I leaked buckets and they got super crusty really fast. I would have needed like 30 pairs to keep up with my flow. I ended up with thrush on my nips several times before I switched to disposables and they were a million times better.
Thanks @mislogis! I've been thinking I need a few more pairs for this pregnancy. I had 5 pairs with DD and was doing laundry all the time anyway so it worked out, but I know at least a few have gone missing since then. I found the cotton ones reasonably comfortable while the disposable ones felt gross in my bra.
I couldn't use them all the time because like other posters, I just leaked way too much. But I loved having them when I was especially sore, or just wanted a break from the disposable feel. Also, there were a few times I lost track of my stock and ran out of disposables and it was great to have reusable ones on hand.
@stoofewok I honestly don't remember? That said, I always wear a tank top or layer over my bra and under my shirt. Which generally keeps things smooth. I'll check this weekend? Tbh, most of my nursing bras show thru and they are medella or motherhood brands. I wear them now, and again, I wear a tank over them HTH?
