Klinefelter Syndrome

We just found out that our boy has Klinefelter Syndrome (an extra X chromosome) through the MaterniT 21 test. I am 12 weeks pregnant. Has anyone known anyone with this? I've been through the internet a zillion times, and waiting to talk to our OB.

Thank you so so so much for your reply!!! (In my fury to find out more information about this, I forgot I posted on this page!!!!). Hearing about other "success" stories certainly makes this much easy to handle. Could you please PM your blog??? I'd love to read it! I find comfort in reading others stories, but I think I'm finally at a place where I'm excited to have a baby boy!!! (I already have 2 girls!).
AND....your boy is the cutest ever!!! Seriously!! Look at those cheeks!!
We share the same frustration because I have klinefelters syndrome which has made me a target for doctor abuse and work related abuse. I not going to sugar coat this because all it has brought to my life is pain till the last few weeks.
I'm 26 year old male that was diagnosed late when I was 18. Which in your case atleast your know to give hormone replacement therapy to properly achieve normal growth patterns. Its been a constant battle with insurance, doctors and people in general over steroids needed just to live. As long as you have money for steroids then you wont have a problem. Because to bring me to normal levels I need two bottles of Axiron 30mg per pump which is $1000 a month with no insurance.
