We share a big house with my MIL & FIL. My MIL watches DS while I'm at work. We've managed to not tell my In-Laws that I'm pregnant. I want to wait until after the NT scan to tell anyone. So, here's the issue: my NT scan is Friday morning and I want DH (who works from home) to come with me, but I don't know how to explain us leaving together about 2 hours after I'd normally go to work. Ideas?
Re: I need a convincing lie.
March 2014: first medicated cycle + iui = BFP!
Or tell them you have the morning off work and the two of you are having a much-needed lunch date.
When you tell them the news after they won't care what lie you made up!
That is what I was going to suggest, an eye doctor appt where you need to have your eyes dilated so you cant/don't want to drive.I'm not hungry, I'm HUUUNNNNNGGGRRRRRYYYY! NOW!
