These are similar to what I used, but when they got strong enough to get out of the swaddle (and promptly began screaming until I swaddled them again) I started using the kind with velcro to keep them strapped in.
I will mention that before having kids I thought that swaddling was kind of cruel, but I am a total believer after my experience with my first two. This next one may be completely different!
I did with DS, for the first month. If this baby likes it too we will go that route. We have Aden and Anais swaddle blankets, which will be totally necessary this time with an August baby!

Yup. We will use A&A blankets and when he can break out of them we will use the blankets and then put him in a Swaddle Me as well. 2 layer swaddle. Worked well with DD.
I got 2 muslin blankets at my sprinkle which I did not have last time with a fall baby, so we'll use those at first. Then we'll start working our way through all the Swaddle Me swaddles that we have from DS. We also have a Miracle Blanket that we'll use if he's feisty and needs to be double swaddled.
I never swaddled for naps last time after the first few weeks (DS only napped on my or in the swing for 4 months) and at night I want to say we were done before 6 months.
I have about 10 muslin blankets (8 adan and anis) i also have a few receiving blankets and a velcro swaddle blanket as well. I was thinking about picking up a summers day (?) Newborn pod and one that velcro as well. DSnever stayed in a swaddle so I'm not sure how this girl will do with it but if i have a few options it may not be horrible.
Swaddled both girls. This time around I'm using these. Let me say, they are awesome! I found a pack clearanced at BRU last week for $15.00 Side note, I babysat for a few years, and I got a little boy who was 9 mo old and would NEVER nap. I asked his mom if she cared if I tried to swaddle him (only his arms, left his legs free) Within 1 week, he was napping 2-3 hours at my house. Normally he would ony nap if you took him on a walk, and them you had to leave him in the stroller. (Not ideal). Swaddling works!
I've learned to be a swaddle Jedi. Dd always busted out if Velcro ones so I learned how to use the blankets and not bust out. The blanket from the hospital is the best. Perfect length and strechyness. The a&a are so huge I had to triple them over and kind of defeated the purpose of lightweight.
I have several different types of swaddles and blankets that are in fantastic shape because DS hated the swaddle after week1. Ill try with this guy and see what he likes. I'm all for a happy baby that will sleep, and doing whatever makes that happen. DS was a horrid sleeper.
I will try to not swaddle. I just see it as something else I have to break them of later so I will try to avoid it but if we need to, I have Aden & Anais muslin blankets and Halo Sleepsacks.
We were 2 under 2, now 3 under 3!

Swaddle Mes about saved my life! DH was a PRO at it. I never did it tight enough. I always thought he was about to squish DD, but she loved it.
We never could get the muslin ones on right. DH asked the nurses at the hospital to show him over and over and over again how they were doing it. DD was just too uncooperative for us. She let the nurses do it, but wouldn't let us.
Definitely A&A swaddle blankets! I'm still hoping to pick up a couple of their easy swaddles too, but since I have the blankets, it's a back burner type of thing.
I used traditional flannel receiving blankets with my first and it was so hard! She could wiggle free from the swaddle at three weeks because they just aren't big enough. I went to the A&A swaddles when my second was born. They are TOTALLY worth the cost.
And just a funny aside: DS is a blanket snob. Someone gave him some non A&A muslin blankets... he hates them. I can't feel any differences but apparently he can. He *only* wants the A&A blankets. Lol
DS1 would just kick out of regular blankets, so we will try to re-use some Summer brand swaddles we had with him and also are trying out a Halo swaddle/sleepsack combo.
With what will you swaddle, dear Liza, dear Liza? With what will you swaddle, dear Liza? With what? With a Halo Sleep Sack, dear Henry, dear Henry. With a Halo Sleep Sack, dear Henry-swaddle style!
Sorry, I couldn't help myself. I loved that thing. It made swaddling easy for both DH and I and it was pretty much brainless to put on. We will be using again. And the best part was when he was coming out of it, we were able to swaddle with one arm out until he learned how to sleep without it. We still use Halo Sleepsacks... just the regular ones now. I love them.
I will add that there was a huge difference in the summer infant Velcro swaddles and the Halo sleep sacs with a Velcro swaddle. The leg portion was too short and didn't come up high enough to get a good fit and she kicked out of it very easily. The Halo zipped all the way up so no chance to get the legs out.
Has anyone considered the Merlin Magic Sleep Suit?
When I was on the infant parenting boards, a lot of them liked the magic Merlin sleep suit around the 3 month mark because they were starting to become concerned about rolling over by then.

I used it with my very very difficult son. I only did it because I didn't know what else to do. I wouldn't start off with it though and it's big so there's no way a newborn will fit in it. It was just another thing we eventually had to break him of once he could turn over in the suit. None of it was fun!

Baby Boy due October 2017
With my first babies I swaddled them for a long time.... probably too long. https://www.target.com/p/aden-anais-life-s-a-hoot-muslin-swaddles-4-pack/-/A-14027173#prodSlot=medium_1_12

I definitely need to buy some more.
