I found the best way to poop now that Charlie's lovely little head appears to be blocking the exit. I get into the child pose from Yoga but stick my butt up in the air. A few minutes is all it takes to relieve enough of the pressure to get some relief. I've been doing it nightly if I don't otherwise go. It's not ideal, but it's better than nothing!

I never post on the poop thread but this week has been bad. I have to take iron supplements and the OB said once every other day would be fine, but to be warned it could stop me up. Well sure enough it did.

It's gotten to the point where DH will ask if I've pooped today, and give a a little "yay!" When I say yes.

Sooooo, the first poo after birth was a bit scary. The second was worse. I'm still taking the Colace (?sp) daily because it's seriously terrifying. When I actually go though-- it's not as bad as what I'm worried about
