cloth diapering & water costs??

Hi! We just moved to north Austin (the Wells Branch area) a year ago. I'm looking into starting cloth diapers for our little 4 1/2 month old. Just wondering if anyone has any info about how cloth diapering impacts their water bill. It seems like our water bills are already high! (maybe that's because of the drought?)

Any tips or thoughts would be helpful!

    I haven't done cloth diapers myself but have two friends who have. They said they paid an extra $20 at the beginning but as the number of diapers went down so did the cost :)

    Sorry this reply is a bit late and so maybe you've already figured it out, but I also live in north austin, and wash my diapers every other day. I maybe saw a bit of a jump in price in the first month or two but it's evened out now and if it is higher it's not by much.
