So we're in Cancun now...

...and let me tell you - if i was younger, child free, not pregnant, I think I would enjoy it a TON more.
This is DH's work trip and K and I came along on airline miles. We are staying at the Hard Rock which in itself is very nice, but it's all tiled (hallways, rooms) so all the noise if cleaners and slamming doors carries like cazy. Plus our hotel and the one next to us, which our room is facing, have concerts at night... Loud!
Oh and K had not been the best sleeper and my poor prego body can barely keep up with her.
On a positive note - we can eat all we want all the time, I am taking advantage of that, BUT I can't enjoy any of the booze which is also included wah wah!!
And they have awesome pools and a kids club, where we've been going daily.
Flying back home on Thu.
Where is everyone else going on vacay?

Re: So we're in Cancun now...
We went to Cabo on our honeymoon last year...all-inclusive too...we loved it! Our 1 year anniversary is next month, but we'll probably just go overnight somewhere local...either Santa Barbara or San Diego. In September, we are going to Texas to watch DH's beloved UCLA play football at Cowboys Stadium, so that's where all our money is going. Not my 1st choice for a fun vacation, but he is so excited about it, so what can I do?
No trips planned this summer other than that. Is it okay to fly in your first trimester?
Last year was our traveling year. (Paris... Morocco.. Disney... and we flew out to see my parents a couple of times.)
Enjoy the rest of your time in Cancun! I have never had a bad day in Mexico.... I think it is impossible.
