Hi! I finally started AF, and also started BCP last night. My DE FET is tentatively scheduled for July 3rd.

QOTW: I enjoyed spending the summers with my aunt on her farm taking care of the animals!

Hi everyone! Happy holiday! I'm working but off soon to enjoy the day! I actually have good news to report!!

Preg mentioned:

I got my BFP on Friday and it's been getting darker since! I called my IP's and they cried it was so cute but I can tell they are trying to not get too excited. I'll call my doc tomorrow to set up my first appt!

I just want to say thank you so much for welcoming me into your special little group and because of you, after I do this surrogacy, I'd love to be a GS or egg donor!

Check-in: Everything is going good here - I had two beautiful embies transferred on Thursday and I'm feeling good. No signs to mention, which makes me a little nervous, but all we can do now is wait

We were very lucky and two more made it to freeze. I have a hormone level check this week and then a preggo test next week - hopefully I've got some sticky little beans!

QOTW: My family always used to go to the shore every summer - now it's a tradition my husband and I share and hopefully can share with our kids one day.

Check-In: On wednesday I went for my 6 week ultrasound. Berry had a heart beat of 122bmp and I also got my official estimated due date; January 10th 2015! I also finally picked a fertility clinic in Iceland for when I'm over there since I leave on Sunday, and they are going to do my weekly beta's on Mondays rather than Wednesdays, so you'll get fresh updates

QOTW: When I was six I went on holiday to with some of my bio family and my parents, to Greece. It was the only time I've been on holiday with both 'halves' of my family, except from when my biodad was still alive, and to this day it was possibly the best holiday I've ever been on. I'd like to it again when Berry is here, but my biograndparents really hate my dad, so it's kind of unlikely.

QOTW: We would visit cousins in Erie, PA in the summer and always had fun at the lake. Would cry the whole way home because I never wanted to leave them

I had a growth ultrasound last week, and Gracie is 2 pound, 11 ounces (25th percentile). MFM is happy with her size since I am diabetic :-) we scheduled my c-section for 8/5, so 10 weeks until we meet her!

AFM, I feel the need to sit down with DH and rehash the plan. We were originally thinking of doing 2-3 IUIs as a final attempt with my eggs while we wait for an appointment with the RI. I have been figuring all along that we're going to go with DEggs, and I'm really starting to like the idea

Originally, we planned to wait until September to start looking at profiles (after the IUIs and RI appointment), but I feel like I'd like to get the ball rolling sooner. Perhaps we can start looking at profiles over the summer so we can hopefully get matched before the end of the year.... I don't know - lots to think out!

QOTW: I loved spending the summer over at my grandparents' house swimming in their pool all day long, and watching the endless video tapes of The Smurfs that my grandma made for us

Now we are just waiting. Had the transfer on the 23rd, getting a blood test tomorrow to check levels. Everyone in my family is sick with pneumonia which is apparently going around. I am doling out meds while trying desperately not to get sick myself.

Not much going on here!! I've been Mia due to little man keeping me soo busy! But excited for the next two weeks because my maternity leave starts today... Although I will work both sat since DH is home! And today I hired a nanny for when I go back June 10th and I think she will be a great for for our summer babysitter! PJ seemed to like her so wee doing a trial run next mon while I'm home.
I'm saving money for our next FET in sept and still working on losing weight. 8lbs down and just joined a gym with a daycare so in gonna start as soon as this chest cold goes away! Miss all you ladies and I'm trying to keep up with you all!!
Qotw: lots of fun days out by our pool bbqing and swimming. We did it the past two days since it was 99 today!!;)

Hey ladies! good luck to those who just transferred or waiting to transfer! Hugs to those of you struggling this week. BFP warning **** My nurse told me not to test till Wednesday (beta is Friday) but I caved tonight at 6dp6dt and got a nice dark line!!!! So super early and a long way to go but I'm going to try and focus on the positive and today I am pregnant.

Afm - transfer is Wednesday... Technically tomorrow since its 2am (I'm at work) ... Which is crazy.

I'm not expecting this to work, but at the same time I know I'm not going to be ok if it doesn't. I guess at this point there is a tiny piece of me that still has hope that maybe I really have fallen on the wrong side of the odds... Over and over and over again. But, I feel like it has to be more than just really bad luck if this fails again and I'm not ready to face that.

Fx the transfer at least goes smoothly and I didnt get this stupid stitch on my cervix for nothing.

Qotw - I spent a lot of days at the beach with my sisters. I love the ocean, it's one of the happiest and most relaxing places for me-

Not a lot to update here. We made our appointment for Dr. KK, it's August 27th. Normally you have a follow up 3 weeks later, but ours was pushed back to October 3rd, due to Dr. KK being out of the office. This means that we will probably not cycle again until November/December. We are still deciding on how to proceed with treatment. DH really wants to move on to RBA's frozen egg guarantee/refund program, but I am leaning towards giving donor embryos one more shot. I am just not thrilled with the idea of taking on so much debt.

QOTW: Some of my favorite summertime memories from my childhood were our big family barbecues. There was always lots of food and lots of kids running around. Since my grandparents have passed, our family just doesn't get together like we used to.

@JimBobCooter‌ -- hang in there. The right donor will come to you:-) DE is a hard process even though doctors sell it to you as "easy". It's not!!

AFM: I'm just about 13 weeks. We tried to get the NT scan done last week but the babies would not cooperate. We couldn't get any measurements..we did the bloodwork but its sort of useless with no measurements..I was pretty upset. I am considering an amnio in a few weeks. For the most part, people think Im nuts to do it but I think, for me, that I need to know that there are no chromosome abnormalities or that there are. I don't like surprises...

We told DH's family this weekend and everyone was really happy for us and totally shocked. Of course my MIL has no clue about donor/IVF stuff etc as she kept asking if twins run in my family and going thru the list of their family for twins... Face palm. But I've decided to let it all go. She's 84 and it just doesn't matter... I also told my BFF over the phone last night and she started crying. Her two kids are 10 years apart and now mine will be 10 yrs younger than her youngest. That is a lot of years of kid activities between us...

Happiest summer memory?? We used to go to these cabins in update NY. I loved it at the time but laugh now as I would hate it now--don't like woods/bugs etc!

Check in: Our carrier has her next appointment on Thursday. She sent us a bunch of ultrasound pictures and a CD of the heartbeat from her last appointment, so I'm hoping that she gets more to send us this time around too. Oh, and we are officially well into (we are over 14 weeks!) our second trimester. HOLY CRAP. It's so surreal to say that since I never made it past 8 or 9 weeks with my pregnancies. I just keep hoping that things continue on this positive and pretty normal path.

QOTW: We had a pool in our back yard so I would literally spend from 1030am until about 5pm in that thing with my two best friends. It was awesome.

Met our donor & her mom this past weekend. Glad we did it.

Donor went in for the retrieval today. A We are starting with 16 eggs. Hopefully a handful of great quality survive.

Just got the e-mail I passed my one hour blood glucose. YAY!!! I'm 29 weeks and measuring full term for a singleton. I have non-stop contractions though. I'm nervous but my cervix seems to be holding up. I've been ultra tired. Turns out I have low RBC's, hemoglobin, and hematocrit. I'll digging into some steak

Fave Memory~ DH took me to see the ocean our first year together. I was in my thirties and had never saw it.

Waving hi to everyone! It's so exciting to see so many of us cycling and so many of us KU. Crossing my fingers for those still waiting to cycle or for a BFP -- there's enough room on the baby train for all of us.

I'm just hanging in there at 32w5d. Definitely entering the Elephant Woman phase of pregnancy. I could barely get my slippers on this morning. :P

Update today was our last US at RE clinic. Everything looks great and we have graduated from their office! Baby is measuring at 11w1d. We see our OB on July 1st. Our EDD is 12/19/14.

Favorite summer memory is outdoor concerts! I could go broke every summer if I let myself. It's something about a warm summer night and listening to you favorite artist live.

QOTW: We moved around a lot when I was growing up, but we used to see visit my grandma at her house on the north coast of Scotland every year. Playing there with my cousins and later with my sister was always great.

Prayers for those who need them & FX for all the baby making!!

Check-in: On bcps now for a week, it's been awhile since I've taken any hormones of any sort and it's crazy how much I notice changes in my body. We turned in all our paperwork to our RE's office today. They'll call us later this week to collect our deposit for FET that will either be July 11 or 18. Lupron will start on the 11th.

QOTW: My mom's side of the family goes to Virginia every summer where we rent a beach house for a week or more. It's definitely my happy place - we go again mid-June leaving two days after we start meds for our FET.

Check-In: First post here on this board so I'll do a quick intro... Mom to 5 and hopefully GC to a wonderful couple. Transferred 7 embryos so far in three transfers, #4 is scheduled for July with their last two frozen embryos. One was neg, two had negative 2nd betas.

Hoping to be some support to anyone considering a surrogacy option. Best of luck to everyone!
