If you have a middle schooler (or love YA fiction!)

Help me make a list of awesome books your kid loves! I already have the Divergent series, but I am blanking on what else is out there. I'm going to hit up Google and scholastic, but maybe you have some ideas? @auroraloo‌ and any other teachers :)
Hallelujah, it's a miracle, I have children AND a signature!

Some of these are for the more mature middle schoolers. Definitely read the summaries first. Lauren Oliver books, 13 Reasons Why, the Ellen Hopkins books (Crank,Glass, etc), the Outsiders, diary of a Wimpy Kid, The Fault in our Stars, Sarah Dessen, Mike Lupica. I tried thinking what books the middle schoolers I taught liked. If you need more let me know. Also all the books already listed.

@bhuffman, doesn't the Traveling Pants series get kinda racy towards the end? I can't remember.

DD loves the Wildwood books, not sure what age level they are, but they're all about 500+ pages so they're a good solid read.

Thanks guys! I knew I could count in you:) I have many of those already, but had forgotten about the Warrior series and haven't heard of Wildwood. I will check on the Ellen Hopkins series as well.
Has anyone read One Came Home? It looks like a historical mystery that might be good.

Where is Harry Potter in this list?  I have also heard great things about the Percy Jackson series.  I was going to borrow it from the library because my friend said she enjoyed it as much as her kids.

Ok, apparently they're the Wildwood Chronicles. There are three books so far. They're written by the lead singer of the Decemberists, Colin Meloy.

Are there more than 3? I had them in my classroom library when I taught middle.
