reusuable nursing pads

I ebf my twins and leak quite a bit. I've been using disposable nursing pads since the twins were born 12 weeks ago. With as many disposables as I'm going through, it makes more sense to me to invest in reusables since I'm planning on trying to ebf to at least their first birthday. Recommend your reusuables please. Tia :)

I use bamboobies.  They aren't great for big leaks (I had to change them frequently when I leaked a lot in the beginning) unless you're using the circular ones for overnight.  Now that I don't leak as much anymore, I love them.  Be warned that you do have to take time to adjust them after feedings/pumpings so whenever I know I'm in a hurry, I just use disposable ones since the adhesive makes things really convenient.   But they're soft and wash much better than other ones I've tried.

  • Yup, the circular overnight bamboobies are great.  I also used fuzzibunz during the day - worked fine (but definitely didn't absorb as much).
  • I agree with the bamboobies!
  • I lucked out...my mom sewed me mine. If you know anyone who can sew, all you need is a few yards of white cotton fabric from your local fabric store, we found a circle pattern online and my mom made me 10 sets already with more on the way. They are nice and thick and have worked WONDERS. I actually disliked the disposables as they made me feel itchy fast and often the adhesive would stick to my skin if I shifted wrong which HURT alot.

I'm a novice seamstress, but bfing twins is sooo time consuming :/
