He Rolled Over-Growing too fast!

This is all happening too fast. He is 12 weeks and he needs to stop growing and progressing so fast. We put him on the floor last night and he rolled from his tummy to back about 4 times! We even got on facetime so he could show his Mema. He is just growing way too fast!!! Tear :'( What is your LO's newest accomplishment?

Re: He Rolled Over-Growing too fast!

  • Both of my boys have rolled from belly to back (12 weeks). We have a "game" that we play when I'm burping one baby (i tandem nurse the twins) i stick out my tongue and the boys stick out theirs and giggle. Last night we had taken a break from nursing to get them swaddled before bed, and they started playing the tongue game with dh. It''s the most interactive they've been with dh, and it was great to see how excited they all got

  • DD has been rolling tummy to back since 8 weeks, crazy. This weekend she started sticking her tongue out at me. For a couple weeks I have been blowing raspberries to get her to smile and now she sticks her tongue out right back. So cute!

  • LO's most recent 'accomplishment' is cutting back on the number of poops per day. Recently it's been 2 or 3 instead of 6-12.

Unfortunately...he pooped so much while I fed him in the Walmart parking lot that it went up his back to his shoulders. @-)
Fortunately, I still had a spare shirt in the car for him. :-bd

  • Seriously though...
He has rolled a couple times, laughs when I tickle him, tried to grab a rattle.

I'm waiting for his big brother to teach him to crawl.
  • I think we're on the verge of a real laugh. She's also digging standing up/putting weight on her legs. Has no interest in sitting upright lol

    babies are exciting :)
  • No rolling here yet, but he is on the verge of laughing as well. So exciting!

  • I tickled my LO's neck earlier and he totally chuckled. I did it again to show his BB. Sooo cute. No rolling completely over yet. He goes from back to side then gets stuck.
  • So exciting! LO rolled over (belly to back) for the first time on Saturday! We couldn't believe it!
  • So much- rolled from belly to back. Mimics ( or tries) our faces and sounds. Reaching for toys and grabbed them ( this was today- I worked with her all weekend on it)

She loves to sit up and needs help obviously. Doesn't have much interest in bearing any weight on her legs though
  • My little guy rolled from belly to back at about 5 weeks but thankfully it was more accidental and hasn't since. He has discovered his hands and loves to chew and suck on those and stand up (put weight on his legs). He mimics my coo sounds which makes my heart skip a beat. Even though I am glad we aren't having anymore, I will secretly miss this sweet baby stage.
  • Whenever I coo he coos back which is so freaking adorable and he has really started smiling at me when I talk to him instead of just smiling randomly. He will be 2 months tomorrow
  • LO has really discovered her tongue. Always sticking it out and stuff. She's also putting weight on her legs and mimicking my faces. So cute

  • DS rolled over at 5-6 weeks. I told him he had to slow it down, that I wasn't ready for him to start this yet. He's a good listener because he hasn't since.

Still no rolling over here either.  But she does a bit of mimicking, especially when I stick my tongue out at her.

    It's awesome.

We've been having a lot of good laughs together lately.  I didn't realize how fun learning new things could be.

  • Sloan has started to want up to put Sophie in her mouth- I ordered a bunch of teething toys. She's to early for this
