First U/S (AW)

As mentioned in the symptoms thread, I was able to get a last minute appointment today to get my first U/S (you may remember I had to cancel and reschedule on the day it was supposed to be last week because both DS and I got sick...and originally they were going to make me wait all the way until June 11). By some luck, they were able to pull some strings and get me in today for the U/S and tomorrow morning for the first doc visit.... so glad I called!

I am pleased to say that baby is measuring on track (actually measured 2 days older than I thought, not that it makes a huge difference....my chart was a bit wonky afterall), and they are going to record my due date as January 4th. Baby had a strong heartbeat in the 150's (I think she said 156)

Oh and I was pleasantly surprised that they did NOT have to use a dildo cam! My first pregnancy at this early, that's all they would do, but I guess their machines are much fancier now

Hahaha thanks! And congrats on your new name, very nice...I remember being quite giddy when mine popped up out of nowhere back when I requested my change
