Holy crabby teething toddler!

I get it, your canines hurt, you seem to have seasonal allergies as well, but for the love of my sanity calm down.

This girl is getting upset over everything today. The top two canines have just poked through, the bottom ones are making her mouth red, swollen, and she has a lovely teething blister over the bottom right.

If she's in her room, she's fine, mostly. She just goes around destroying it and looking at books. If we go downstairs... She wants the plunger, to turn the ps3 on and off over and over, attack DS, and cry whenever I'm not 2ft from her.

These better come in quick!

I feel your pain. DD got one of hers a couple of weeks ago and it was awful. She still has three to go! At least you guys are getting them all over with at once. I finally broke down and went and bought an amber teething necklace. I don't know if it helped a whole lot or not, but the drooling did stop at least. I hope they come in quick for you!

  • She lost hers and I didn't realize it. She was up all night that night. I bought a new one as soon as I noticed. She sleeps better, but that's it.

This is better than her mars, except she's more independent than she was at 10 and 12m.

    Molars, phone fail.

  • Isa has been super crabby the last day or two, so I'm guessing that she has a tooth (teeth?) coming in. I'm hoping this passes quickly too.

  • It appears we're all in the same boat. This past week has been awful....both boys have been super crabby and clingy to the point of screaming if I just put them down to go to the bathroom.

This too shall pass.....but quickly, please!!

  • There's a store around here that has them. Our downtown has a bunch of cute shops.

Amazon is a good place. Make sure it's light in color and natural looking.

Same here. We got ours at a local store. I was also told to get the unpolished stones.
  • The attitude! DH says she gets it from me, apparently I'm the same way when I'm not up to par. Whatever :-w

Sleep is really the only thing that's improved with the necklace, I think.

I am not worried about her eating the beads. They are pretty small on our necklace. She eats food bites quite a bit bigger than these beads. She would just pass it if she did eat one. Also, the necklace is knotted between each bead, so even if it does break, only one bead should get off of the string. She doesn't even mess with her necklace and barely knows it's there.
  • I may have to look into one of those teething necklaces... Killian has been an absolute monster for the last week. Everything ends in a full on, on the floor, kicking & screaming, throwing, hitting tantrum from which there is no return. He was happily eating dinner last night and then stopped with a bit halfway to his mouth & started screaming & throwing his food & juice and trying to hit DH and I. I put him in the tub to try to calm him down but he just screamed so badly he went to bed with sand still in his hair from school.
He's been sleeping a ton, not eating very much at all, crazy nasty poops... this will end right?

  • @kescalera‌ I hope so! These tantrums are ridiculous. Two are in for real and keeps going up and down due to swelling. The 4th is just getting red. I wish there was a way to expedite teething.
