The Foley Bulb Induction, that is the way my Dr. is talking about inducing me on Monday. When she check today I hadn't changed much since the last time I was checked. I'm getting nervous, I really hate all medical procedures, as in like I'm sure they are going to have to give me something to ease my anxiety before the bulb is inserted but we shall see.

    Both of mine were really easy, kind of awkward since it feels like you have a really weird giant tampon string coming out of you and it's taped to your leg.

    Got me dilated to what it was supposed to, they feel really weird when they come out

    Thanks so much miles2go I'm still nervous, though I'm glad it's successful I hate the pain part and the insertion part. Due to my serious anxiety I wonder if she will give me something to relax me.

    No experiences here, but if you're nervous about being induced, can you not request more time to go into labor naturally? You're only a couple days overdue.

    Its not the nervous about being induced, I am just nervous with the pain with the foley bulb with the insertion and such and the idea of labor in itself.

    Everyone's level of comfort for this sort of induction is different. I, personally, thought it hurt like a mofo- but most of the ladies who commented on the thread I posted (the link shared above) all said it was rather uncomfortable but didn't necessarily 'hurt'. I was a VBAC patient who ultimately ended up with a RCS bc my body didn't dilate past a 6 after 28 hours of labor. I think the odds were working against me the entire time but I was still hopeful.
