Landon update!!

Met Landon's team of surgeons today, they are amazing!!! They gave us the option of which surgery we want to do.

A: endoscopic surgery. Two 1 inch incisions to cut open the fusion in the middle of the skull. 1.5 hour surgery and he would be released the following day. With this surgery he requires the helmet to reshape the skull and he will need 3-4 different helmets as he continues to grow.

B: 5 hour surgery with a zig zag line from one ear to the other. It requires a four day stay and at least one blood transfusion. But he would need no helmet cause they surgically reshape the skull.

We chose surgery A!! I can't justify putting him through a long surgery plus I'm terrified of him being asleep that long and getting a blood transfusion. Surgery is next Tuesday!!! Pic included for reading
