Twins?

Hey ladies!

I just had my first ultrasound, dr sent me in for a dating to ensure I was on track. The tech and 2 dr's confirmed there are 2 yolks, 2 fetal poles but currently one heart beat. The twin with the heart beat is measuring exactly on track at 7w6d with a hb of 170 and the other is measuring 2 weeks behind at 5w6d.

They said one baby might not make it but I am to go back in 2 weeks for another ultrasound. Anyone have any experience with something like this?? Thanks!

    I have no experience with this, but lots of thoughts and prayers. FX for a good ultra sound in 2 weeks!

    I would check out the multiples board on here as well, they may have come across this more often. Good luck for the next appointment!

    I hope that the smaller twin catches up. I know a friend who was pg with twins, but one failed to grow. She has a healthy DS now.
