Cautious Intro with Questionable Beta

Hi ladies of PAIF!  I recognize so many names around these parts!  I wanted to introduce myself and hope that I will be around here for a long time - but not quite sure what to make of my situation.

I had a 3dt of two 8 cell embies on 5/10.  I started POAS at 7dp3dt with positives daily (including turning a digi).  Of course, since this was my first ever BFP, I tested twice a day like a complete nut job.  The lines got darker and lighter and darker and lighter - but they were consistently there and showed up pretty fast.  My Beta was 13dp3dt (yesterday) of a 77.7 (lucky, right? - hope so).  My RE said to NOT get excited - it's a "grey area."  My concern was that I turned a digi a week prior to beta (which requires at least 50 ml HCG and I'm only at a 77.7  week later.  I realize that blood is 1.5 times higher than urine (according to Dr. Google) so I am wondering if I am going the wrong direction here.  There are plenty of success stories with a low-ish first beta and I am holding out hope.  My second beta is on Tuesday.  Any advice or positive thoughts would be greatly appreciated and I truly hope that I get to stick around here for a little while.

Have a safe and fabulous weekend.

pee sticks are not meant to tell you how pregnant you are. Only that you are pregnant. Digital tests are not reliable. My beta was I think 90? It's in my siggy after my transfer of a 8 cell embryo at 14dp3dt. so your 77 isn't far off from my number.

I know it's hard but stay positive! Good luck! FX for you!

Thanks much ladies - nice to hear.  I was reading that the CBE digi detects 50-200 for 1-2 weeks 200-2000 for 2-3 weeks and +2000 for 3+ weeks - So, I was under the assumption that If I turned  digi and it read 1-2 weeks a week ago I had at least 50 in my system.  I'm seriously hoping it picked up VERY early and my bean is just taking it's sweet-ass time in there.  Absolutely nothing I can do until Tuesday.  My fingers are cramping from all of the internet searching I've been doing and I give up.  Waiting this out.  Thanks for the wishes and stories.  You ladies are amazing.  I'm just so thankful that I have reached this point - it's nice to know that I am pregnant.  Today.

First of all, congrats! Today you are pregnant!

My first beta, also at 13dp3dt, was at 97. Our second beta 4 days later it was triple! I wouldn't worry so much about the pee sticks(they can be the devil!) but try to be patient and see what your next beta shows. That's what is really going to tell you how things are going, obv.

Congrats and welcome! I've heard many success stories with betas lower than 77. My RE treats anything under 50 with caution and even then it can be successful. Like others have said, the doubling number is what's important. Hope you stick around and good luck!

You are pregnant!  My first beta was 13dpiui and my beta came back a little low for my RE's liking - 45.1.  I had to come in three additional times over the next week to have betas drawn on Monday, Wednesday and Friday (163 16pdiui, 309 18 dpiui, 659 20dpiui).  I am now 11w1d pregnant.

Hang in there. Know that there's nothing you can do to change the outcome.
My first BFP I had low and yo-yo-ing betas, that turned into an ectopic.
BUT my second BFP had low, and slow rising first betas and as far as I know all is well and bean is holding on at 13.5 weeks.

Congratulations!!! It was so nice to read all these positive results. I had my first beta yesterday at 40.4 and I was told to be cautiously optimistic. Going in tomorrow for beta #2. Hoping for good numbers.
