confused...

My periods were very irregular until I got on birth control. During and after birth control they stayed regular. I had my LMP on April 6th right on time. However, when May time rolled around nothing. This is my third pregnancy and I was having several symptoms (nausea with vomiting, painful breasts, EXHUSTED, etc plus I felt pregnant) I took hpt every couple days but they kept coming back negative. I gave up until my period tracker popped up and said I was 17 days late. I figured why not and checked again. I got two positives that day and one the next morning. According to my lmp I am 7 weeks but it took forever so I'm confused... My appointment is June 11

Were you temping? That's the only way to accurately know when you ovulated.
You might have ovulated later than you think, or maybe your hcg levels just weren't high enough to change a test yet. Either way, congratulations!

You probably ovulated late, it happens all the time. I ovulated on cd 18 for three cycles the one I got my BFP I ovulated on cd23! The dating ultrasound will be what they go by!

Using your LMP as a way to date your pregnancy assumes that you ovulate on CD 14. Since it took awhile to get your positive, it's possible that you just ovulated late. Once you have your first ultrasound, you can find out a more accurate EDD.

Thanks everyone! I'm okay with it being a little later ( further from Christmas and my Dec 17th daughter lol) . As long as everything's OK I'm good I just was so confused my first two were easy lol. So if it's because of ovulation it would be like a week or two late right ? We weren't temping we were going to officially start trying in June and were kind of thinking it would take awhile like my last daughter did (if it happens it happens lol).
