How do I get my ticker to work?

Ever since I was on The. Knot, I seem to have problems with this! LOL. So I created it, copied and pasted the first code onto my signature under my account, and it didn't show up. So I tried the code under (for message boards that don't accept HTML), and I still don't see it on my posts. Does it take a while? I'm also using my iPad....does that matter? Thanks for the help!
