DD2 is 2w old today. We went to bed at 9.30pm and are just waking up to nurse now at 1am. The long stretch of sleep feels amazing. DH goes back to work tomorrow. He decided to sleep on the couch, even though the couch is way shorter than he is, so he could get a good night sleep. If only he knew how well DD is doing tonigth! Me, not so good though. DD1 has been sick for a couple days and now I have a sore throat, hot flashes and I keep coughing. Really praying DD2 doesn't get sick too. Especially on my first day home alone wih 2U2 and one already very cranky unhappy 18m old.

I'm up. Haven't gone to bed though. I'm a night owl anyway so after this feeding the lights are off... Hopefully for a stretch longer than 2 hours. DD is 2 weeks old and still going only a couple hours between feedings.
Heading to bed now @1:30. Baby isn't asleep, but just nursed and DH is going to stay up with him so I can sleep some. LO is a great baby, but has been sleeping the longest in the late afternoon. He only wakes up 2-3 times a night though, so next feeding might be around 4:30 or so. We'll see...
Hi! Just had 1:30 between feedings! I swear he could sleep 6 hours straight during the day if I didn't wake him but at night I can't even fall asleep between feedings. Wish me luck he stays asleep this time.
Me! DD is now 8 days old. Last feed was at 10:30 pm. Sweet uninterrupted sleep!
How do you guys change diapers and feed at night? I usually offer one breast and let her go to town. When she's done, I change her diaper and offer the other breast.

I know all of you have outside babies already, but I'm up because mine is still inside. I had several gushes earlier and called it in, they said wait for ctx to start, they haven't. Then the gushes stopped, but now it's after 3am and I just had a few more with a pinkish color... But still no ctx. Wish I could sleep because tomorrow might be a loooong day.
Up for the third time at 4:50 am. I usually get one or two longer stretches of sleep, but not tonight. This is after cluster feeding this evening as well. Growth spurt maybe?
@Jcrewgirl85 We do the same. At night he always falls asleep nursing, so it's the only way I can get him to wake up and nurse on the other side.
@elizabe519 Hope you are able to get some rest and that all goes well!
I am having trouble sleeping. DS slept from 8:30-12 and I slept for about 45 min. Then he slept from 12:45-4:10, and I finally fell asleep after 3. Now he's back down and I have less than 2 hours before my 8 year old is up for school. My hubby is back to work today and I'm on my own. I'll be doing the sleep while he sleeps today for sure.
I'm up. DD had a good feeding around 1:15 and slept till I woke her at 5. She'd sleep thru night feedings if I let her. She didn't take as much as she usually does at a feeding but it seemed like she was on the boob all day. @jcrewgirl85 I wake her up by unswaddling her and changing diaper. Then we start on one side and usually go 15-20 min. Then I give her second which she always takes and goes about 12-15 minutes. I broke down and started using a nipple shield the other day because I was in so much pain and really dreaded the feedings. It's going well but I wonder if she is getting the same amount and if she is getting too much air. She doesn't always burp which makes me nervous about putting her back down

@Jcrewgirl85 DD is formula fed, but we do the same. We give her half the bottle, burp her, and then give her the other half.
