I am curious if anyone had any success finding professional part-time work after having baby. I would love to find something part-time to be able to spend more time with my baby, but any jobs that I see posted online would not work out financially. I understand working part-time means less pay, but we would not be able to manage financially on the part-time jobs I have been coming across. I would not mind working may of the jobs (i.e. retail), but the pay just would not suffice.

Unable to even.

You don't understand the appeal of Benedict Cumberbatch / think he's fug / don't know who he is? WATCH SHERLOCK. Until you do, your negative opinion of him will not be taken seriously.
This is most likely what I'll get back into after this baby comes. The downside is that the pay is highly variable, but it does offer flexibility that a normal "9-5" job doesnt. So theres that.
Keep in mind that PT childcare is not always easy to find, and is usually not that much cheaper than FT care. At least that's how it is around here.
Not saying it wouldn't possibly work down the road in a different situation job-wise, but honestly, I was working PT to purely just pay daycare, and was barely breaking even. Just putting our experience out there.
