Anatomy Scan is done! yay!!!

We had our anatomy scan done on Friday, and found out we are having two baby boys! I do admit that I feel a little bummed that we are not having a girl, but the thought of having two healthy baby boys is pretty darn exciting too.

There was a little scare during the ultrasound. A soft marker was found on baby b's heart, and it was determined to be a little calcification on his heart. It turns out the only thing it does is raise the risk of Down Syndrome to 1 in 320 or so. In other words, less than one percent. There were no other markers found to say anything was wrong (and the baby's heart looks really good) but it was enough to send me into a little momma scare for a minute!

    Congrats! We are in the same boat as well... 2 boys and one with an echogenic intracardiac focus. Our Dr told us to live in the 99% and so did an OB friend of ours!

    HSG, BW, Ultrasound, SA, Genetic testing, Karyotype - all normal
    DX - Unexplained IF
    3/13-9/13 - 2 Clomid IUIs & 3 Injectable IUIs - All BFN
    Cycle 25 - IVF w/ antagonist protocol - ER 11/18 (11R, 9F) - ET 11/23 (1 "good" early blast) - none left to freeze - BFN
    Cycle 26 - IVF w/ antagonist protocol  - ER 1/17 (12R, 11M, 8 F) - ET 1/22 (2 "good" expanded blasts) 
    2 frosties - Beta 2/4 - BFP! 2104, 2/7 -  4780, ultrasound 2/12 - holy shiz, there are 2!

    Congratulations!  We also had our anatomy scan on Friday and are having twin girls!  :)
