Bike Trailer?

DH loves to bike but since having DS, he's maybe gone out a handful of times. I was thinking about buying him a bicycle trailer for Father's Day, so that they could go out together. I've been reading reviews, but would love to hear if you have one you like. Oh and if you have recommendations for a helmet for LO that would be really helpful too. Thanks!

    @MrsGiantPenis sorry to jump on the game so late, but I didn't see any speed limits posted on the two wheeling tots charts. I'm assuming you have a trailer? We finally opened the one my sister bought us for Christmas (a cheap instep one) and it said 10mph max. Are all trailers rated this low, or would a more expensive trailer have a higher speed limit? 

    FYI we do plan to go to a bike shop soon and actually check this stuff out first hand, just thought I'd ask while the topic was fresh. :D
