Post Partum bleeding

I'm not having excessive bleeding or anything like that. I'm just wondering how long you all bled after having baby. I know I've read it can be a few weeks to 6 weeks. I'm 2 weeks PP and it's definitely lighter flow but I'm already tired if wearing giant pads. Blah.

I'm 4 and a half weeks postpartum and I'm still bleeding but very lightly now. I'm so over wearing pads.
  • I'm 3 weeks PP and just switched from the jumbo pads to a panty liner. Still bleeding, but not nearly as much.

  • Almost 4 weeks PP and it just stopped yesterday. Thank god!

    I stopped at 3 weeks. But I also had a c section
If you knew better, you'd do better.
  • In the same boat here. Isn't it funny how we get to enjoy not having our periods, then having to go through weeks of bleeding?

  • I'm 5 days PP and switched to a regular pad on day 3... I'm already much lighter and hopefully can wear a panty liner in the next day or 2.

I had a c section and I was mostly done bleeding after the first week. I still spotted for a bit but was completely done bleeding by 2 weeks pp.
  • Switched from medical grade pads to maxi pads on day 4. It's lighter now. I hear it goes from red to dark brown to a whitish color. It's only been a week and I'm at the point where I'd rather ruin underwear. I feel so dirty wearing pads. Ugh.

With DS I bled the whole 6 weeks. The last few weeks were really light spotting and I could get away with just a liner. This time I switched to liners at about 3 weeks PP. I'm just spotting now and I'm ready for it to stop.

  • Almost 3 weeks and I'm wearing a liner.
  • 4weeks pp. I had a few "haha just kidding" moments where I thought it was over and it wasn't. About 5 days pp i was wearing a light pad. The Kotex pads (in the picture) are actually quite thin but really absorbent. I didn't find it as bad to wear them.

I am 4 weeks PP and it's finally stopping. I wear a liner anyway because there will be zero blood ALL day and then bam. A spot out of nowhere (followed up again by nothing).
  • I'm a month out. Mine slowed down after three weeks. But I bleed still after a walk or any real activity. So I have to keep wearing pads. :(

  • I think mine is over now at three weeks five days.

With my second it was OVER six weeks. I called my OB about it and they said occasionally some women go longer.

  • 2.5 weeks PP and bleeding varies through the day from light/medium flow to spotting. Wearing an ultra thin pad. Could probably switch to liners during the day and wear a pad at night, but figured I'll burn through the pads I have left before switching.

  • I'm 3w 3d pp now and it's been super light the past few days. With DD I bled for almost three MONTHS!
  • I'm about a week pp and it is very light but I'm going to keep wearing a pad because I'm sure I will have random spotting/bleeding.
  • I'm 10 days PP, I could have switched to regular pads after about a week I think, but with my tearing and stitches still healing I don't mind my puffy maxi pads providing some protection down there. I even got my husband to pick up an extra pack of them yesterday since I stocked up on extra thin but absorbant infinity pads before I gave birth but I want the padding right now. But I agree, I kind of feel like I want my vagina to get some air now.

  • I bled for about 2 weeks. Now I barely have spotting, but just enough that I'm still wearing liners. Plus I still sniss, so I need the liners for that anyway.

It’s not that I don’t like you, it’s that I don’t know you. Stranger Danger.
  • I'm 15 days pp. I switched to a liner yesterday BUT had to go back to a reg pad today. I was fine until I decided to vacuum the entire house and carry some boxes (packing to move). This morning I woke up with ruined underwear and eraser size blood clots all day :(
I can't remember how long I bled with my other 2 hooligans.
