This is my first pregnancy and I am about 6w 4d. I had my first pelvic to confirm appt last Monday and I thought I was 7w 1d according to my lmp. My doctor did an ultrasound and measured me at 5w 4d. At 5w 5d I started having brown spotting. I thought it could've been from the ultrasound. The brown spotting/bleeding lasted about 4 days and then turned into red spotting and now bleeding. I've been having mild cramps, similar to period cramps, which I know can be normal. The bleeding isn't heavy or continuous, but I've been bleeding red blood for about 4 days now. With it being Memorial Day, my doctors office is closed until Tuesday. At my pelvic to confirm appt last week, the doctor said she wanted to see me back in a week. I didn't hear a heartbeat at my 5w 4d appt; she said it could just be too early to hear one. I have an appt scheduled for Wednesday morning, but I'm trying to move it to Tuesday to put my mind at ease earlier. Has anyone else been through this or know anyone that has? I know every body is different and no two pregnancies are the same, but I'm just trying to figure out if this is how my body reacts to pregnancy or if this is early signs of a miscarriage.
Re: Period Cramps & Bleeding
I've had a little spotting (mostly pink/brown), and that is normal, but a large quantity of bright red blood could be a bad thing. Is there an on-call number you could call?
T&Ps.
Yeah, you're still giving out bad advice. The ER CANNOT stop a miscarriage at this point. OP will be a lot more comfortable at home than at the ER, and she won't have a $150 copay.
To the OP, I really hope it's nothing, and I hope your OB can get you in earlier!

<p align="center"First, I'm sorry about your loss. However, just because your situation turned out the way it did, doesn't mean OP's will. I find this comment quite insensitive. I'm all for not giving false hope but people have bleeding all the time and while scary, does not always end in miscarriage. Only time will tell.

OP, I hope you are doing ok. I agree with the advice from @twolittledogs.
