Can we pleaseeeeee have a randoms thread? I am bored. out. of. my. mind. DH is not home, DD is sleeping, and I'm just sitting, drinking by myself.

So. what are you doing right meow? Anything on your mind? Any random gifs or anything you'd like to share?

I have had a stomach bug h all day and was so useless. It's been gorgeous out side and I tried helping H plant in the garden and kept getting lightheaded. I had all sorts of plans to do stuff at the house.... Did not happen. Sucks sucks.

We have BIL and SIL wedding in punta Cana in June and I am happy to have a little vacation but extremely annoyed at how much money we have to spend to go for 4 days. Fun times dropping several thousands that we need much more for our new home and LO since I'm not working this year due to teaching jobs being incredibly hard to come by. Sigh.

On a positive note I see dd getting up on all fours and rocking in the crib when I come in and get her from sleeping. She won't do it much on the floor but gf loves to get up and rock in her crib. It makes me excited! I can't wait to see her start scooting around soon.

@jlp0528‌ I'm sorry you don't feel well. Sending healthy vibes your way! How exciting the DD is almost crawling! We're not quite there yet but honestly, I can wait for her to become mobile. I feel so unprepared. Lol.

We took DD to the lobster house tonight and she did so incredibly well, she always surprises me every time we take her out for supper!

I gave her a chunk of my filet mignon and it's safe to say my girl likes her meat expensive! She LOVED it.

On our way home we discovered a drive in theatre! We haven't had one here for about 8 years so I'm thrilled that this one is only 45 minutes away!

oh and we even seen a rainbow after supper, I feel like a little child every time I see one, I can't help it though they're just so beautiful!

Just settled in to watch my dateline I recorded only to find out it was a damn repeat. I had Resses cupcake from a local cupcake shack & I immediately regret that decision, tummy ache.
Oh & I have a gathering tomorrow & still no clue what I'm bringing & another on Monday where I need to go buy the stuff. Think I'll just go to bed early instead!

I have always heard about the show Scandal and thought it was just some boring and typical drama show. Last night, while DD was sleeping, I thought I'd check it out to see what the big deal is. I am f*cking hooked.

I'm ashamed to say I am on Season 2 Episode 10. WTAF. I also spent the majority of the day playing with DD on the floor while I watched it. Also ashamed of that. I'm so addicted. It's a great show and I love Kerry Washington. Why did I not check this out sooner?

My H watched it last night with me (I caught him up) except last night, I was on Season 1 still. We watched the finale together and he loves it as well. He's going to be PISSED when he finds out I've since watched 10 episodes without him. How does one even watch 10 episodes in less than 24 hours? I didn't get any house work done at all. Oops.

I'm furious that H has been working so much lately. Not his fault. I'm just annoyed. I know he's working hard for his family but I miss him. It's almost 10pm and he is finally on his way home. This was his last day of overtime. I think. I hope. There has been 4 days this week where he hasn't even seen DD once.

I'm considering picking up a part-time Nanny/DCP position. One that I can bring DD with me. There are so many ads where I live for a full/part-time Nanny and a lot of them say they are okay with you bringing your child. We could use the extra cash and it would get DD and I out of the house. I'm thinking maybe 3 days a week max. I'm worried though. I'm worried that I wouldn't pay enough attention to the children I'm supposed to be watching. However, DD is going to be 9 months in a couple weeks and I think the interaction would be good for her and fun to watch. It's not much but getting paid to watch kids (which I love) AND be able to still be with DD all day is a good job in my book.

H doesn't like the idea and just wants me to be a SAHM. Going from working full-time to being a SAHM was harder than I thought. I frequently get so annoyed and frustrated with being stuck in the house all day. I'm also the kind of person that gets into a HUGE slump when I don't have a proper routine. I get so unmotivated and just want to sit on the couch all day and not move.

Okay - I completely ranted. I like this random thing though. Gives us an outlet for things that may not fit in other threads.

I completely negotiated and bargained with my 4 yr old on our dinner choice. He wanted Moe's (counter Mexican restaurant similar to Subway) because it comes with a cookie. I love Mexican but I wanted a Margarita so I agreed to bring a cookie with us for desert if he wouldn't complain about going to a real restaurant. It was my first time being "that" Mom.

I am a bit ashamed of myself but the margarita was so worth it!

I am currently in the middle of my second PP period and it just sucks. I thought that they were supposed to be easier after having a baby.

DH is in a mood again. He is working out of town this weekend and I mentioned that I attempted a modified CIO with lo last night. He says I just need to let him full on CIO because it is killing us. I am pretty sure that I am the only one getting up in the motn. He mentioned he had a lot on his mind, and when I asked if I could help he said he was tired and we would talk about it when he got home.

We have yet to have any alone time without lo and it is getting to dh. We just simply don't have anyone close to us that can help, and I can't leave him with just anyone. We recently went to visit my mom and lo flipped out when I left him with her while I took a shower. A full on melt down. It was ugly. I am just too tired to try to keep everyone happy.

Oh and Monday is my birthday. Happy freaking birthday to me.

DS woke up really early this morning he napped fine today but he feel asleep at 5pm. He woke up at 8:30 so DH and I took him out to eat with us. So we were those people in a restaurant at almost 10p with a wide awake baby. (He was happy at least) and I wonder why he sleeps poorly.

DH and I are rocking this parenting thing L-)

My LO has been up cribg for 3 hours. Unless she's nursing she cries. I've tried CIO and she only stays asleep for 5-20 mins before waking up screaming. This is my forth time nursing her in this tine frame. I haven't slept yet. DH is worthless. I'm so tired and frustrated.

My DH and I went out during the evening time for only the 2nd time since dd was born. Usually we just go out on lunch dates because we don't like to mess with her bedtime. My in laws live next door so we just gave them the baby monitor after we put her down at 7:00 ( she's been sleeping great the past month and a half at night ) and we went to the pub for 3 hours, had some beers and listened to the band, it was AWESOME!!

My first overnight business trip is in about a month. I'm already stressing about DH's ability to handle both boys for 4-days without any relief from me. He's a SAHD so has the 9-5 down, but I'm worried about him solo for all 3 wake ups, bedtimes and overnights. DH sleeps like the dead and DS2 is still getting up twice for MOTN nursings. And I'm not sure how much BM I'll be able to leave,y stash is pitiful.

I know everyone will probably be fine but I know there will be a lot of tears and frayed nerves while I'm away. On the plus side I'm going to New Orleans for the first time and will get at least 3 full nights' sleeps.

@ejb23‌ and @Salemkitty13‌ my DH is worthless as well when it comes to MOTN things. I mean, there's really not much he can do because all she wants to do is nurse. But when he doesn't make up for it during the day is when I want to shoot his face off.

@Brennadaun‌ was it one of those rotisserie ones you get hot from the store? Those are my FAVE and I can eat a whole chicken that way.

We are having family over today for a cookout as it's he last Holiday we will have here before we move. I got quite buzzed last night and do not feel like cleaning for company. Or cooking. Or going shopping so I can cook.

I completely agree!!! I have the hardest time using the Bump on the Ipad! I hate the stupid wall of text it gives me when I make very easy to read lists or paragraphs.

DS has been super needy today. On top of the separation anxiety, I see two more white spots on the top of his mouth which is crazy considering we just broke through the bottom two teeth this week. I'm exhausted. So after he goes to bed (and I'm feeding him as I type this) I'm going to enjoy a glass of wine.

And I'm back with same complaints for the second night! Why won't you sleep DD?? She was the worst sleeper until we trained at 6.5 months and the last few weeks she has only been getting up once for a quick nurse and easy back down. Now she's back to pre sleep training days! Wtf?

It was a nice day today as well. Today, when DH gets home from working at the cemetery we are going back to the pool. He's been there since 3am so I am surprised he suggested the pool again .

So at the last minute we decided to take DD to the parade and she loved it!! On the way home we thought it was a perfect day to go to the beach. So we took E for the first time and brought along my little sister and her friend. It was pretty fun:) we drove about an hour to Lake Erie and got lost for an hour on the way home. Even that was fun though honestly.
