I am getting mine taken June 26 and I have no idea what to wear! I know it's still a month away but I want to start looking for something cute to wear! I like the idea of a maxi dress maybe? And what about your DH's, what are they going to wear?
I honestly don't know. It's going to be SO HOT and humid here by the time we take ours, and we also have DS1 to contend with. I will definitely be going with a dress or skirt but may even do something shorter to be cooler.
I am thinknig a maxi dress and DH in a solid tshirt and khaki shorts. I will also probably do some more casual photos in jean carpis and a black top with DH in a black top and jeans well
I had mine done today! It was pretty casual so I did jeans and tunic length top. DD and DH were in coordinating but not matching outfits. it was a cooking "bun in the oven" theme so I also made matching aprons for me and DD to wear. Can't wait to see the photos!
I've had several maternity photos this pregnacy but I like the look of a white shirt with jeans. I usually wear the same for newborn family pics. I took pics in a dress and it didn't show off my belly. I just looked bloated.
I am wearing a belted top with a bright color sweater and jeans, and then a coral maxi skirt with this top and custom belt I had made. The second outfit is what I will wear for my shower too. (More bang for my buck)
Thanks for all the great ideas! I am leaning towards maxi dress (as long as my bump decides to look a bit bigger by then, otherwise a belted dress of some sort) and then maybe changing into jeans and a cute plain colored top! I love all your outfit ideas and pictures, I need to go shopping!
My photographer suggested I wear a maxi skirt. I will wear a striped pink maxi skirt with a white tank top and a belted short sleeve or lightweight sweater.
I'm hoping there is time for a wardrobe change for ours. I would like some with a dress and some more casual with jeans and a cute top. I'm not looking forward to the heat either. I'm more worried about how my hair is going to look with the humidity.
Our photographer recommended this place to have a dress made.https://bambinibabe.etsythemeshop.com/ its pricier but the dresses are beautiful and look great in the photos. Shes a little more the artsy type!
While I appreciate that some people celebrate their pregnancies and want to remember them via photos/videos, I have a hard time even looking at how huge I got last time. With that said, I would avoid the ridiculous horizontal stripes that are on many maternity clothes, look for darker colors and solids and show off a body part that is looking good still, like your legs. Wear sandals and get a pedi and do your hair up nice. Chances are your face is glowing and makes sure that you capture that. I have far too many pictures from pregnancy one where I look like a poster child for exhaustion and poor fashion choices.

We are doing ours the first weekend in august, and i am wearing a cream top and grey skirt and sparkle sandals, and my husband and son will wear khaki shorts coordinating tops... We still trying to pick them from a few choices, but we are also doing our photos outside and hoping i can keep my son in clothes, so we may get some naked kid pics too! silly boys!
Started TTC in 2006, LOTS of trying, and trying, and 7 rounds of IVF with 13 embryos, 2 perfect little boys and 5 loses.... All finished with babies, started to make diet changes, Keto, to be MORE for my kids, lost 30 pounds, still going, and 3 months in, I had a natural cycle, and then ovulated... Hubs and I are going to see what happens now... Maybe a natural pregnancy? After everything we have been through? Or just a return to normal hormones? We shall see what the future holds!
