Nope, nothing for me as our DD was born towards the end of summer and I work every weekend. However I have heard of a Co-Ed baby showers. Wish I could have had one.
The bachelor party is suppose to be the last guy's night. I did not have one nor would I care to have one. IMHO, women enjoy large parties where they are the center of attention. Guys just want to have a couple of beers and watch the game.
Having a couple of beers and watching the game could be a type of guys night. It sure doesn't happen as often or as easily for a while once the little ones get here.
Babyshowers are awesome.....It gets all the ladies away to play their little baby games. Then if the guys are smart, as most women want to bring their babies to show off, they will all gather at one of their houses to BBQ or a local pub for some beers.....Im all for that.
My hubby is going to celebrate with what he is calling a Diaper Party, an idea he is copying from a friend... just a boys night at our house (I'll be hiding upstairs!) And the admittance is a pack of diapers and a pack of beer he should have some fun! No more manly sleepovers after baby comes!
I've heard of Dad parties where it was like a night of poker and the original ante is a pack of diapers, and then after that, it is just guys hanging out, nothing really baby related after that. I showed up to our baby shower for the gifts, but passed on the rest.
Re: Did your partner have or is he planning to have a dadchelor party or man shower?
