So, I'm trying to keep up with LO's appetite and have the silent victory of not having to supplement with formula since about week 5. I EP as well, maybe nurse once a week so I don't really count that. If she doesn't finish a bottle, I refrigerate it. Throughout the day I refrigerate her "leftovers" so I have something for MOTN or first thing in the morning. What I don't use that next day, I freeze.
My concern is that technically she had already drunk out of the bottle that I refrigerate and use later. Is there an issue with contamination I need to worry about? Something about bacteria from their mouth's potentially touching the lips and milk.
Edit: complete sentences are hard.
Re: A sin to refrigerate BM she doesn't drink?
This is what stinks about fortifying. I have to use it within the hour once he starts.
@babycaps still ok to freeze it?
