My period? I ebf. I do pump during the day and feed her that way often. DD will be 6 weeks Wed. I thought I would have a little break. Or could this be some more PP bleeding. I stopped bleeding around 4 weeks and had discharge until last week. Today I'm having some red spotting.

I suppose? Breastfeeding isn't a gaurenteed way to keep the period away...

Going more than 4 hours without BFing can cause your period to come back sooner, even if you pump in between. So it could be your period.

Dammit. She also sleeps a 6 hour stretch at night. I'll take my period as a trade in for sleep though.

I had red at 7w, one week into the mini pill. I was cursing everything at my period being back- I EBF every 2 hours around the clock (this child must have had secret clock reading lessons). Turns out it was just two days of spotting/break through bleeding. Hope that's all you're in for. With dd1 I made it to 9 mos without one (EBF to 6 mos, then added solids, no FF).

At my 5 week apt the FNP confirmed it was my period. I was afraid I had started re bleeding. FML, I'm BFing 2 little people, can I not catch a break? It's gone back down to spotting now.

How do you like the mini-pill? Thinking about birth control options and my dr mentioned that one.

I am on the same train sadly. I have EBF since he was born but I got mine at 2 weeks PP and now i have it again at 6.5 weeks so its official. I got Mirena in last Monday so hopefully after a year i won't have it.
With my DD i didn't get my period for 9 months. But she didn't go very long stretches at night. My DS goes 6-7 hours for the firat stretch at night.
