Popular birthday party themes

Looking for some more helpful suggestions. I am seriously considering starting up a side business for paper party products and am just wondering what some themes are you guys have used for birthdays or any you think are popular? Hoping to make templates for a handful to try and gain some business locally first so I can take photos of my work.

We've done sock monkey, Sesame Street, super heroes (Avengers/Justice League, etc) and elephants for Q this year. I'd also say monsters, princesses, virtually any popular children's show, circus...

We have done Cookie Monster for G's first (we had a cookie buffet as the take home favor and I made Chinese takeout boxes with my design, super cute!), Thomas for #2, and for 3 we had a gymnastics party with another friend so the theme was "birthday." Haha.

Arlo's first will be rock and roll. I have a bunch of old records I am making into a tiered cupcake stand, bowls and plates and his hair is growing in in a natural Mohawk so I decided even though it was just going to be a pool party, I needed to rock it out.

I hadn't thought about staying away from those type of things, you see them for sale all that time. I guess selling little things like banners goes against copyright...hmmm. Also I may feel stupid later but what's a third party ip?

For DS, we've done puppies, Mickey, Curious George, Star Wars and sports.

DD's party will be a garden tea party. I also considered Beatrix Potter and Paddington Bear.

Thanks guys. I will definitely be careful of the themes I choose and just stick to colors and general graphics. I'm still not entirely sure if I will go with this plan, but thanks for the help and ideas.
