11:55 = Child in crib, zipped into sleep sack, hugged, provided with blanket and water. Ni-night, Charlotte!
12:05 = Sleeping child! Dishes/laundry/grad school work/working out ensue!
12:20 = Awake child. WTF? Naps are usually noon-2:30 or 3:00, no problem.
12:30 = Lots of talking. Several verses of "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star"
1:00 = I go read out on the deck and ignore my still talking/singing child.
1:20 = Hysterical crying begins.
1:25 = I enter the room and find the following: child in crib. Sleep sack removed. Dress removed. Diaper cover removed. Child holding very wet pre-fold diaper to her face, crying, and saying, "Pee pee. Poopy." Child points at butt. "Diaper. Fix. Mommy."
Toss crib contents in laundry. Clean and apply new diaper to child (Snappi the pre-fold and put on a wool cover to thwart future issues.) Have talk about how she is still sleepy and wants to nap.
1:40 = Child is back in the crib with a new blanket. I leave the room.
1:50 = Child asleep. Hopefully wearing all her clothes!
Maybe we need a video monitor?
