City Mini Double Accessories

Ok--- so have the BJ City Mini single now that I use. I also just got a Double and I am looking up accessories. It says the city mini parent console fits the single and the double!?! I have it on my single and I can't imagine it fitting on the double. Does anyone have the parent console for the double? Does it work/fit? Are there tricks to it????
